IRR Model Template - Merry Xmas

After several requests, I decided to share a template for my IRR model spreadsheet as a perk to paid subscribers. I’ll also include the inverse DCF model which I shared earlier. I explained the IRR model concept in detail in this recent post. Recently I adjusted the IRR model to also calculate the IRR excluding valuation changes, more of a intrinsic value model with the drivers that the company can actively impact.

In this file you’ll find a summary page with where you can adjust the standard terminal rate and my discount rates. I added the example of Alimentation Couche-Tard as used in the explanation post and a clean template. After a request in the comments I added a version that doesn’t break in Google Sheets, somehow they mess up the links between sheets.

Reminder: My prices will increase on 1st January, so make sure to lock in the current rates!
